An Attendant-Supervised Door Lock Status Control System
This OmniPort system is an announcer system providing alerts to an attendant regarding the locking status of a door that might be undesirably left open. A sound alert is sent whenever ingress or egress by a guest does not result in the door being retracted and locked back into the frame. A strobe light may be used instead or added to the sound device. This system may used for safety purposes against vandalism or delinquency from which the door might be intentionally propped open. In short the door buzzes when left open, or if the door isn't closed after a certain period of time.
The owner or admin sets the desired time window for a normal ingress or egress event, which may be registered as varying between 1 sec and 60 sec. After an ingress or egress event, it the door does not retract and locks back into the frame at expiration of the set time window, the sound or light alert is triggered in a relentless manner, until the attendant corrects the unlock situation. Overrides with a keylock are provided so the attendant can momentarily put the system on hold when needed.
This package is strictly geared to announcer services and includes: (1) Q-9 Module w. Keylocks - (1) Electronic Bell-Buzzer Sounder - (1) 16VAC Transformer - (2) Magnetic sensors.
Two selectable levels of sound are provided. You may add a wireless extension to this Package in order to have the magnetic sensors connect with the indoor devices (sound, light, etc) in a wireless fashion, via the Control box. The wireless receiver will be located in the Control box as an add-on. A wireless magnetic sensor head is made available for that purpose.
