Door Entry Access System With Video Monitoring
SaffeGard Q-12s
is strictly a no-phone-line door entry system that performs in a totally
stand-alone fashion. It has no interaction with any phone line at all or
any in-use dial-tone phone sets.
The system is
made up of an entry Panel and an indoor corded handset. A speaker box is
also offered as an alternative to the handset. When the call button is
pushed, the indoor handset will cast 5 ring strokes for about 10
seconds.
More than one handset
may perfectly be at work. SaffeGard may also interwork
with a phone system via a vacant CO line or FXO port so that the
handsets from the phone system are used to answer the door entry calls.
The user then
picks up the handset at hand to engage a two-way conversation and eventually
release the door by punching in a 2-digit release code. In addition a
door chime box may be connected to the
system for complementary annunciation on door entry calls. Any wired doorchime box is a fit.
SaffeGard Q-12s also features video monitoring capabilities on
an optional basis with a built-in video camera inside of the Entry Panel
and a 7"
color LCD screen
as a companion to the handset. The LCD screen along with the handset may
be used as a desktop station or as a wall-mount station.
SaffeGard Q-12s works directly off a power line receptacle or
via a low voltage
24V Adaptor.
The receiver sets may be located as far away as
5000 ft
from the entry Panel.
Two models are
available: Q-12sx and Q-12sp. The
Q-12sx model strictly offers the features described above. The
Q-12sp model offers in addition to the features described above
a plethora of additional services. Namely: |
