SaffeGard Q-12
SaffeGard Q-12 series of wireless doorphones also features video monitoring. The video link is always a radio wireless link between a built-in video camera and an inside video monitoring screen.  Several different options are offered both for the built-in video camera and the inside monitoring video screen.

Built-in camera may be B&W or Color, and each may be for Low Light or Normal Light. The monitoring screen may be a mini desktop 2.5" color LCD screen which is also portable, a 7" color LCD screen or any TV set (in use or dedicated) with a video Line In jack. The 7" LCD screen and TV options require a wireless receiver which is the element that provides the video footage to the LCD screen or the TV set. The receiver remains behind the scene, it may simply be placed on the floor or behind the TV set. The 7" LCD screen is used as a desktop device in this application.

The 2.5" LCD screen includes a power adaptor on which it remains most of the time. Four rechargeable AAA batteries provide over  one hour of autonomy. 

Backup time may be increased to about 3 hours with higher capacity AAA batteries (not provided). The 2.5" LCD screen may so be moved around at the user's convenience.

Both the 2.5" LCD screen and the wireless video receiver set may be used at the same time in order to provide video monitoring at different locations. Several 2.5" LCD screens may be used at the same effect. The wireless receiver may also be used simply for recording purposes.
