Call Abuse with Toll Restriction |

This home intercom system gives you the opportunity to prevent call abuses by allowing you to restrict phone calls to specific areas. Once a 4-digit restriction code is programmed, the intercom system controller will screen all outgoing calls and block any call whose first 4 digit match the pre-programmed code. Only the system manager (owner) can override the restriction by means of a password. You can program codes of less than 4 digit long to restrict very specific areas. You may even restrict all incoming and all outgoing calls. Only the owner will then be able to make and take calls by dialing his/her password. This type of restriction does not prevent your phones from ringing on incoming calls. But when you lift the handset you don't get connected to the external caller until you dial the correct password. Great for controlling teenagers's use of the home phone line or in emergency situations (when you don't want any one on the phone). In the event of power failure, the intercom system will automatically take the extension phones off-line preventing restriction violations. You have the option of connecting them back to the phone line then by using a keylock mounted at the side panel of the controller.
