When I am away, can I have the door entry calls forwarded to any remote telephone number?

With the Q-16S-E, Q-16S-S and Q-16S-P systems, you may program any number of up to 16 digits in order to forward the calls from your visitors to, while you are away. Therefore, you can be reached around the world and give access into your home to any visitor if you choose to do so! The visitor never knows that the call has been forwarded to another place, because he/she hears nothing until a voice speaks out from the doorphone.

Can I connect the building intercom of my apartment to this telephone controller?

No, it is not possible to connect the in-house receptor of any building intercom to these Telephone Controllers. Only if an OmniCom 64 telephone entry system is installed in your building can you use your Ultimatoll for building entry intercom and access control. An old system can be upgraded without any change to the wiring already in place in the building.

I am a builder and I would like to install this system in the apartment complexes that I build. Is this possible?

Yes, you can perfectly install one Unit in each apartment. You can run any telephone entry system that you please at the building entry. You can also run the OmniCom 64 telephone entry system, which has many advantages over regular telephone entry systems. More ...

Can I connect my existing outdoors Doorphone station to The Ultimatoll?

You can hook to the intercom unit a custom version of the KX-T30865 Doorphone station from Panasonic, which we supply upon ordering. No special adaptor is required to connect these Doorphone stations to The Ultimatoll. A single-pair wire is all that is required to hook up the doorphone station. You can install up to 4 doorphones.

How many alarm detectors can I connect to the Controller?

You can only install one detector to the Unit. The detector must be of the normally-closed (NC) type with any kind of sensing element. A motion detector placed in a strategic location can effectively protect multiple areas. If you are very serious about home surveillance, though, remember that the Ultimatoll systems are principally a communication systems to which an alarm function has been integrated.

Will I need to sign up a surveillance service contract when I purchase The Ultimatoll?

There is no security service contract to sign up at no time when you purchase this telephone intercom system. It your choice to contract or not contract one of the security services of your area. When the alarm detector fires, the system will deliver an alert either to the phones or a pre-programmed surveillance number, whatever the number is.

If I already have an alarm system, can I still install the Ultimatoll at my location?

Yes, even though your alarm system will be connected to the phone line, you can install and operate The Ultimatoll on the same phone line, just as your extension phones can operate perfectly while the alarm system is connected to the phone line. However, you cannot put in use both the stand-alone alarm system and the alarm feature of this intercom system at the same time, unless you plan to have the alerting response of each system to be delivered through separate phone lines.

What if I have two phone lines? Can I still install the Ultimatoll?

The Ultimatoll systems operate directly with only one single line. If you have two phone numbers on the same line, it makes no difference to the Ultimatoll which "sees" them as one phone line. All your phone-company services for both numbers will remain fully operable. If you have two separate phone lines, you need to select one to hook the intercom unit to. Then you will need a two-line phone at any location where you wish to service both lines.
