How
does
the
Ultimatoll
connect to the phone line and
the
extension
phones?
The Ultimatoll
intercom
Controllers
will always be located
between
the phone line
and
the
extension
phones, no matter how it is installed. In other words, before
the dial tone reaches the extensions it goes through the Unit.
I live in
South America. Will this telephone intercom system work with my phone line?
Your phone line must admit
touch-tone dialing in order to be compatible with
The Ultimatoll
Controllers.
Touch-tone dialing is active when you hear a different tone for each button pressed on
your phone when dialing. The extension phones must release these tones and the phone line
must be capable of processing them. If your line is the pulse type, then you must ask the
phone company to change the dialing mode of your line from pulse mode to touch-tone mode.
