Direct Wholehouse Voice Broadcast from Handsets

Ennovah Q-26 Series

The Premium Ennovah Controllers as well as the IV model feature wholehouse open voice page from home handsets. The open voice output is implemented with universal multimedia (computer) speakers. Any kind of multimedia speaker sets can be used, low-cost or high-end.

The Controller provides 2-zone paging, each running on one single twisted pair within the home phone wiring as transmission media.

The speakers plug into the phone jacks with a mini device designated as an audio adaptor. Zones are divided into a wholehouse zone and a semi-independent zone. When a voice page is made to the wholehouse zone, the address is released to all of the speakers installed in the home. When a voice page is directed to the semi-independent zone, only the speakers installed in that area of the home will release the address. Use the semi-independent zone for a maid quarter, the children's bedrooms, an in-law section, etc.

If you have a distinct wholehouse sound system (PA system) from a different vendor, note that the Ennovah Controllers are able to interoperate with any other system via dedicated sound output port and a Mute control. This setup will allow users to pick up any home handset and punch in a two-digit code to connect to the wholehouse speakers. The Mute control will enable the host system to momentarily disconnect any possible music being played while a page communication is in course.

These Controllers are also able to provide wholehouse music at background or entertainment level. You may turn the music on or off from any handset. Switch music sources at the touch of a keystroke on the handset keypad. Two music sources may be plugged into the Controller with stereo output to speaker sets. The system works with multimedia speaker sets of any kind: low-cost speaker set or quality surround sound speaker set. Runs over CAT5 bus. Unlimited number of speakers. Independent volume control for each room right off the speaker at each user's convenience. The music runs off the wholehouse voice page speakers. The music automatically shuts off on open voice page announcements and returns thereafter.

Note that the Ennovah system is also compatible with (900MHz) wireless speaker systems that are able to transmit sound through walls and floors without wires. Attach the transmitter to the Ennovah Controller and place the speaker set anywhere in your home. A wireless link is so implemented between the Controller and the speakers such that the speakers will play the music emanating from the Controller and release any open voice page announcement initiated at a handset. The Controller is able to handle as many transmitters as you wish to attach to it, translate distinct speaker sets with their own transmitters. However there is a limitation that is imposed by the amount of separate channels available in your speaker set: you may only have as many speaker sets as the number of separate transmission channels built into them.
