When
the
system
also
features
the
ability
to
control
the
door
release
mechanism,
the
user
is
able
to
remotely
let
the
guest
in
with
a
keystroke
on
the
phone
keypad.
Multi-doorphone
Controllers
make
it
easy
to
the
user
to
release
the
door
by
featuring
the
same
single
keystroke
to
buzz
the
entry door
or gate no
matter
which
property entry
the
call
has
been
initiated
from.
Any
type
of
doorchime
box
can
be
used
with
these
Controllers.
Whether
the
box
rings
with
a
standard
ding-dong
chime
or
exhibits
musical
notes,
quick
distinctive
identification
strokes
will
work
as
well.
Whenever
the
phone
is
busy
with
an
external
phone
call
and
a
guest
at
your
doorstep
rings
the
doorbell,
the
caller
on
the
line
will
perceive
a
distinct
call
waiting
tone
as
a
warning
that
someone
is
at
the
entry door or gate.
At
the
same
time,
the doorchime
box
will
release
a
chime
note
to
announce
the
arriving
guest
to
the
rest
of
the
household.
The
more
advanced
Controllers (Q-26/DPC)
additionally
offer
forwarding
of doorphone
calls
to
an
off-site
phone
number.
A
guest
ringing
your
doorbell
will
be
taken
to
a
phone
call
initiated
by
the
System
to
your
pre-programmed
phone
number,
your
cell
phone
or
else,
so
you
can
communicate
with
the
guest
from
wherever
you
are
(in
town,
out
of
town
or
abroad)
and
eventually
buzz
him
or
her
in.
Last
but
not
least,
at
every
door
with
release
mechanism
under
control
of
the
system,
you
may
have
an
Access
Control
Keypad
or
a
Keychain
remote
allowing
you
and
other
home
residents
to
enter
the
home
without
using
a
key.
Up
to
7
household
members
may
each
have
their
own
keychain
remote.
Keychain
remote
transmissions
are
encrypted
to
afford
the
highest
level
of
security.
