Ennovah Q-26 Series

Typically, there is two  possible types of DSL installation on the home phone wiring backbone. There is what the industry calls the Splittered environment, and there is the Splitterless environment. In a splittered environment, your home phone jacks will look more or less like the picture below. Your faceplates will be muti-port faceplates delivering dial tone and DSL in separate jacks.

The splittered environment requires keen structured wiring and can be pretty costly to setup in an existing home. However it is the only environment that gives  most phone systems, particularly the KSU-less systems, a minimum chance to coexist with DSL.  In this environment, the phone line (dial tone wireline) might be subject to intolerable noise, in which case you will require a DSL filter at the phone port in your faceplates. These filters will impair the KSU-less  phones since it blocks their carrier frequency, for the one part, and for the other, there is always a limitation on the number of filters that you can install on the DSL line (up to 5 in most cases).

In a splitterless environment, your home phone jacks will look like the sketch at the left, no different from the look of a regular phone jack. Simply because DSL is delivered with the dial tone at every single one of your regular home phone jacks. It is simple and does not involve any additional cost. However, in a splitterless environment, no KSU-less phone systems stand a chance. They will all malfunction because of the required filters. If your wiring backbone is run daisy-chain, no PBX phone systems stand a chance either.

No such restrictions at all with the Ennovah. These systems perfectly coexist with DSL in any of the two types of environments. You can have as many phones as you please for room-to-room , not just 6 or less.

They make your DSL  installation simple and inexpensive. They are blind to your type of wiring backbone, whether you have daisy-chain, home run or mixed topology. You may place your DSL gateway equipment in any convenient room, your gateway does not have to have dedicated ports for your phones. In addition the Ennovah Controller will remove the restriction of only 5 home extension phones in splitterless environments, allowing any number of phone sets to be installed.

These telephone systems are versatile like no other. They will work with any type of phone line, they give you countless features, they save you money. Unmatched!
