One of the key advantages of the OmniCom Apartment Intercom systems is their ability to allow for any type of apartment or suite groupings inside of a multi-unit building in terms of sets of entry-door/apartment-group.

To this outstanding flexibility, The OmniCom Apartment Intercom systems add the capability to handle any required amount of entry Intercom Panels without limitation.

All Entry Access Panels will wire back into the one single Controller in use in a home-run fashion. Whenever a sizable number of Panels is in use, it will be convenient to aggregate all cabling from the Panels into one spot or block before connecting to the Controller.

Each entry Intercom Panel must include a modular DOP card whenever an application is to provide more than 4 Entry Access Panels.

Note that any entry Intercom Panel may be selected from the Entry Access Panel suite, including the single-unit doorphone stations, in any sort of mix. An application may even include only single-unit doorphone stations as might be needed. All such applications retain all other access control services. When Auto-Dial classes of service are required for all or some residents a Panel of the EAP-23 series must be chosen or a single-unit Doorphone station as appropriate.

All the Entry Access Panels from the Intercom Panel suite are stylish instruments available in several different finishes. Many carry an array of white LED lights in order to support nightly use of the entry Panel. Lights automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. Models from the EAP-23 series carry an optional set of embedded name directories in chrome or polished brass finish for a striking double-tone look. Further, name directories are luminiscent to facilitate reading at night. Name labels are directly computer editable and printable from provided templates.
