UniPort Door Access
System
Universal Door Buzzer System
The UniPort Door Access System is the perfect fit for
situations when the doorlock latch would not match any available
doorstrike, or would otherwise require an expensive specialized
strike. UniPort is especially fit for
commercial double glass doors
where the use of electric doorstrikes or even deadbolts are simply
impractical and inappropriate. So UniPort can be used
virtually with any type of door and existing doorlock.
Use UniPort as well whenever
you want to mount a
second security layer
on top of the current mechanical lockset of your establishment at hours of great exposure, i.e. when the establishment
is closed at night or otherwise left unattended.
UniPort
works even for
doors without a lock.
UniPort also comes very handy when you are
not allowed to
make hardware changes
to the doorlock system of the rental
establishment as would be required for a doorstrike. Lastly
UniPort will conveniently
remain in your possession
when you move out of your current rental location so you don't ever lose
your investment in a doorlock security system.
UniPort
offers:
- One
or several Pushbuttons for the inside attendant(s).
- A
Control Module which also offers a Press-to-Exit button
located near the interior side of the door and for guests or
customers to hit on their way out of he establishment.
- An
Electromagnet with a solid 600-lb closing force to be
located at the top frame of the door which interplays with a
matching plate to be attached to the top of the door itself.
- A
Doorlock Plate to be located near the exterior side of the
Door so the Owner can momentarily disengage the Magnetic lock
when opening up the establishment for business.
- One
Power Adaptor.
The T-C
Module with the Press-to-Exit button also features a second
mini lock which is intended to
disengage the
whole system,
whenever the owner wants to allow free or unrestricted access into
the establishment at any time.
Fixtures
such as
attachment
brackets
for both the Electromagnet and the Doorlock Plate are included at no
extra cost. A second Electromagnet may be used in order to augment
the holding force of the door if need be, or if you also want to
exercise control on the second door of a double door set.
The
Doorlock Plate may be substituted with an Entry Access Keypad,
should the owner opt for keyless access entry for self and other
employees. Likewise one or several wireless door remote controls
may be added to the UniPort system.
Alternatively the UniPort system may include an
electric Deadbolt instead of an Electromagnet. This option is
appropriate only for
swinging
saloon type of doors
or any situation where a physical stop (like the one implemented by
a bolt) might best apply for the locking mechanism.
Lastly the
time window for door release is
adjustable
over the range of
1 to 60
seconds to satisfy most demands. This is the time duration of an
open signal whenever a triggering action has been exercised on the
push buttons or the electric keylocks. This long time delay capacity
especially provisions the situation when the locking device is a
deadbolt on a back-and-forth swinging door which might take a very
long time to come to a stop.
