Unless
you
need
to
use
an
external
power
source
for
one
or
more
doorstrikes,
no
external
power
circuit
is
required
for
any
doorstrike
device
in
an
access
control
application.
Each
wire
pair
coming
from
the
doorstrike
devices
connects
directly
into
the
module
ports
along
with
port
bridges
when
necessary.
The
module
eliminates
doorstrike
circuits
and
so
keeps
to
a
strict
minimum
wire
runs
to
doorstrikes
which
might
become
fairly
complicated
in
a
multi-doorstrike
application.
