This gives you enough time to pick up the phone on incoming calls
when you are at home so you don't need to turn the answering
machine on and off all the time.
As
to
the
intercom
calls,
there
is
no
risk
for
the
answering
device
to
pick
up
on
intercom
calls
because
distinct-ring-compatible machines
will
count
a
complete
sequence
of
intercom
rings
as
one
single
ring.
When
users get back home,
they can read
received
messages right off the
voice
mail
appliance as usual or from the
privacy of their
own
bedroom via phone handset. The user picks the handset and
dials his/her own ID number. When the machine picks the call, the user
dials the remote access code to his individual mailbox.
He will
operate the machine just as
he
would
from a remote external
location.
Machines with voice prompts make it exceptionally easy to enter
remote commands not only to read personal messages, but to otherwise
operate the device from afar.
We
highly
recommend
the
use
of
the
ATT-1726
model
from
AT&T or other models from the same line.
Excellent
audio
quality
and
excellent
integration
with
the MiniCom
systems!
Yet if you prefer your
answering machine not to interact at all with the intercom system,
that is also simple to do with the MiniCom
system.
Once
that
is
set,
the
machine
will not pick up on intercom calls and will
not be accessible from handsets.
