MiniCom Q-16

The MiniCom system is able to provide remote open voice communication for certain advanced commercial and residential applications.

It then requires multimedia speakers plugging into the phone jacks or a PA with its set of power speakers. The multimedia speakers will plug into the phone jacks with an Audio Adaptor (mini hookup device). When using a PA, at least one multimedia speaker is required for interconnect purposes.

Once the system is setup, any remote subscriber telephone may call the dedicated line to be immediately connected for a direct loud open voice page, right off the site speakers. A great complement to internet video surveillance systems. When using the MiniCom in that mode, one speakerphone is required in the installation in order to enter and maintain the Mode (Auto-Answer Mode).

Alternatively, some applications may require just a moderate level of open voice at one single site location, and with answer back capability. For such applications simply use the MiniCom with a mini speaker box as shown on the left. A phone set is still needed to enter the Auto-Answer Mode, however it may be removed from the installation thereafter. After the subscriber line phone call has been automatically connected, the individual on site near the speaker may converse with the remote caller in a handsfree fashion. No maneuver is required from him or her at the end of the communication. Bear in mind that a speakerphone set might be used altogether instead of the shown speaker box whenever a handset is admissible for the application.
