Every time an external call is put on hold, the announcements will be played on the line to the external caller. Will work perfectly even with mini portable CD players!

If  your Ennovah system also has at play wholehouse music functionality, the source for wholehouse music (Source 1) will be automatically relayed to the on-hold calls. If you wish a different input for your on-hold calls, simply plug the desired appliance into the on-hold port and it will take over the port. 

Music on hold (or custom messages on hold) allow you to keep callers on hold for longer periods of time than might otherwise be possible and without stress neither for you nor for the caller. And so you may indefinitely park a call. You put the caller on hold and hang up to park the call. The caller then remains on-line with entertaining music. An intermittent ring tone is released every minute by the home phone sets as long as the call is parked, to remind you of the caller on hold. Pick up any handset to retake the call at any time.
