You can use the built-in tape recording adaptor of the Telephone Intercom Unit to connect a tape recorder and record your speech from the handset or headset of any extension phone.

Picking up the phone and hitting the [#] key will prompt the tape recorder to record your speech. You hang up to stop the tape and lift the handset to talk or listen to the recording. If any incoming call while you are practicing, a double-beep warning will let you know. In this event you hit the hook switch (or flash button) of your handset to get connected to the caller. You have right there the opportunity to try yourself! Check the recording afterwards to see how well you have done!

You can either use an ordinary tape recorder connected to the built-in tape adaptor of this Telephone Intercom System or a telephone conversation recorder connected to the wall phone jack. A telephone conversation recording appliance will generally give you beyond 2 hours or more of non-stop recording as opposed to an ordinary tape recorder, and possibly better audio quality.
