The Controller offers a port for a regular audio plug in order to connect a radio/cassette player or a CD player. You can, for instance, prepare your personalized messages from your computer rewritable CD ROM drive, and record them on a CD for your CD-R/RW player. (Most CD players today can play these recordable/rewritable CD's). Every time an external call is put on hold or parked, the announcements will be automatically played on the line to the remote caller. By using an endless playback device such as a CD player, or a radio/cassette player with auto-reverse, you won't have to worry about resetting the appliance. Will work perfectly even with mini CD players!

On-hold music not only works when a phone call is put on hold in order to service a doorphone call, but can be intentionally put to work without the event of a doorphone call. This is a great addition to the door entry intercom function that nicely complements a SOHO communication system.
