Want to know the
difference between PhoneBell and the
Ennovah door entry systems? There are
several key differences as explained below.

PhoneBell is a mini door entry system
that does not allow connection of a handset to any of the doorphone
stations in an at-will fashion. A handset will only connect to the doorphone as a response
to a call initiated at the doorphone set when the button has been pressed.
Therefore PhoneBell does not bear any audio monitoring
capacity as Ennovah does. Moreover, Ennovah will send enhanced
microphone audio to your handset, whenever a connection is
established.

PhoneBell provides no
alarm function. That capability is provided by Ennovah for
intrusion and exit surveillance via any type of sensor. This is
useful to the homeowner in order to keep the property line, a
driveway, any entrance area, under one's constant control, in regard to either possible
intruders or residents untimely leaving the property.

PhoneBell can only handle
up to 2 entry doors. Ennovah can handle up to 4 door phones and 5
buzzer strike
releases. This expansion capacity is especially important for
preserving your investment when renovations, now perhaps unforeseen,
occur in the future as they do occur. PhoneBell has to be replaced
altogether as soon as an extra release is needed or a third door needs to be handled
for intercom. Ennovah can
expand for all functions as needed with simple addition of expansion cards.

Ennovah has full-range
video capabilities especially when the application includes more than
one doorphone. Ennovah will automatically put on screen the picture
from the particular door at which the call is initiated. PhoneBell has
no such capability. Ennovah will directly process video into composite
and modulated outputs for a mix of viewing stations like LCD screens,
computer screen, TV sets via Line input (RCA jack) or modulated
channel. In addition Ennovah features an extremely capable Sweeper
which, among other things, continually switches camera views on screen every 5 seconds.

The Ennovah Controllers
feature a housing cabinet that is also a Structured Wiring Cabinet
which can be easily handled by layman or professional contractor. Fit
for both new construction and retrofit in existing homes, it is a
friendly-sized small box, with a security lock and a fully
removable swing-open door. Yet this cabinet is large enough to
properly aggregate and terminate all wiring. The cabinet also carries
fixtures for an optional
Telephone
Distribution Module (TDM-8 or TDM-14) as well as an
8-way or 4 way video distribution splitter. Those devices will distribute 4 phone lines, 8
or 14 extension phones along with 8 video jacks in your home, with
RJ31X functionality and embedded protection of your phone lines and
phones. That type of Cabinet and
accessories are structured wiring must
in new constructions, and very good-to-have parts in existing homes
to keep it all clean and reliable! Note that all accessories are still usable
even in the presence of a distinct structured wiring panel, which will then
cost you less overall. Last but not least, you
also get several built-in power supplies that save you expenses in
transformers and power adaptors for your peripherals.
