Flush-Mount and Surface-Mount
Hands-free Speakers
These
speakers install in each apartment of the building and require each two twisted pairs from the lobby
Panel. One pair is used to convey the intercom, the other pair
for door release control. The release control pair can be run
instead in daisy-chain from apartment to apartment. The user
pushes the talk button once to
engage a
full two-way
hands-free communication. The user
hits and releases the
talk button at end of communication. The user hits the buzzer
mini button during communication to let the guest in as desired.
Only for single-Panel (1 door) installations.
Surface-mount types of these speakers use an impact-resistant
flat plastic box at the back. The Brass models use a cream box.
White, green and silver models use a white box. Black model uses
a black box. Total size: 3.12 in. W x 4.75 in. H x 1.5 in. D.
Surface-mount types are
very
elegant yet easy-to-install
models. Excellent for retrofitting applications.
Flush-mount types use a rear standard steel single-gang box
which is also supplied. Size of Back box: 2.5 in. W x 4.12 in. H x
2.43 in. D. Back box goes flushed into wall rough in.
