Use the video distribution technique with a Distributor when building owner
or specifier prefers a dedicated monitor for viewing whether in mini
TV sets or mini TFT LCD screens. For small buildings with 6
units or less the Distributor may perfectly be waived in favor of a
low-cost line amplifier or a simple line splitter.
Distributor, amplifier
or splitter
receives
the
picture signal
from
the
camera
and
provides
individual
feeds
to
dedicated
TV's or TFT LCD sets
in
apartment
units, one feed for each unit.
Note that even when
using the Distributor or other distribution device,
the
camera picture may also be made
available
to
all
TV
receivers
inside
one
apartment
unit by using
a micro Modulator in that unit.
An optional lighting kit supports video surveillance functions at
night time as well as call initiation by guests during
nightly hours.
The lights are visible on the
Panel as an array of lens that cast bright white light or infrared
invisible light. With visible light the Panel will deliver crisp color
picture from a built-in color cam not only during daytime
but also at night time.
When a B&W camera is preferred,
the infrared light kit will make a picture possible on tenants'
monitors even at night time. These lights automatically turn on
turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
In addition they are long-life LED's.
The lighting board is easily replaceable
for expeditious maintenance.
