With these telephone entry security systems you won't pay for spare capacity you don't need. Because these entry systems can be configured for the exact required capacity, you won't pay for spare interfacing capacity that your building does not need.

These apartment/office telephone entry systems are highly modular systems. The main control unit, the MPU Controller, is made up of plug-in Interface circuit boards that provide service to each apartment on an individual basis. Each entry system will be configured with the strict amount of Interface boards required by your application. Your lobby call Panel is also delivered in the exact configuration for the total required capacity.

For small buildings with 4 units or less, use the EAP-2 or EAP-4 series of Panels, for small buildings with 6 units or less use the EAP-6 series of Panels. For larger buildings, use the EAP-23 series which features modular circuit boards in order to match the required set of units.

These building telephone entry security systems are complete in themselves in that they also supply power to your doorstrike (buzzing device), whether it is an AC strike or a DC strike, keeping your costs conveniently low. The doorstrike wires back directly into the nearby Entry Panel which both powers and controls the same. No need for a separate and maybe complicated series-wired circuit and a dedicated transformer to take care of the doorstrike, which simplifies overall installation a great deal. If you wish to provide your own doorstrike and the same is not directly compatible with the Entry Access Panel, the system is flexible enough to readily allow for such configuration by means of quick strap settings.

All models of Entry Access Panels provide for an optional concealed B&W or color micro video camera. The camera may be added any time following installation as might be convenient in order to implement video security surveillance.

Further there is no programming needed for this telephone entry system. All features are conveniently preset. Even when the building suite numbering system is different from the natural numbering order as followed by the Entry Panel, call patterns are still taken care of without any programming, keeping installation simple and precluding dedicated maintenance tasks.

Last but not least, tenant do not need to have dial tone service from the local phone company for entry access services to be available to their suite's telephone handsets. If the dial tone becomes unavailable because of interruption of service by the phone company or as a result of line damage, tenants are still perfectly able to attend to guests' announcements from their telephone handsets. The whole system may even be installed in a totally stand-alone fashion with no interaction at all with tenant's phones and phone lines if desired.
